Vintage 1970s rare designer Hanae Mori rose print silk chiffon dress with dramatic ruffle sleeves. Hanae was the first woman of Japanese descent to have presented on the Paris runways and the first Asian woman to be admitted as an official Haute Couture house to La Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. Her pieces are very feminine and highly sought after by collectors. This dress is a stunning example of her work and beautifully made. The lighter than air silk chiffon has been printed with a gorgeous oversize flower design. The movement and drama this creates is extraordinary. Excellent vintage condition.
